Squash (Cucurbita)

Squash comes in two distinct groups - summer and winter. Summer squash is a delicious summer vegetable, often used in side dishes. Winter squashes are also delicious and healthy, but can be somewhat challenging to grow. Because winter squashes grow as vines, significant space is needed and some support may be required.
