Vaccinium (Blueberry, Cranberry)
Blueberries are easy to grow plants that can be used either for fruit production, for their landscape value, or both. Plant in full sun, well drained, acidic soil that has a large amount of peat moss content. Planting more than one cultivar helps pollination. We recommend planting one early, one mid-season and one late season variety. Once this relationship has been established, any other cultivars can be added without fear of not having a cross-pollinator.
